Wrenching wife !! :)
About to get my wife of 17 days to do her first wrenching job ( sweet ). I got a good one here, she is a firm believer in upgrading parts instead of just replacing all hail the new wife that loves the Jeep.

Saturday
Got up early, washed it, loaded it up, filled up the tank, headed for a truck show, got about 15 miles from home. Then i looked down and saw the temp gauge was pegged at 250°. Pulled off for a while to let it cool down. On cool down the upper radiator hose was collapsing.:bang: Turned around and headed for home. Turned on the heater but it still started to overheat. So i pulled in a station to let it cool again. While i was waiting i hotwired the auxiliary fan since it didn't seem to be coming on. Seemed to be fine then but i took it home. Got a new radiator cap, thermostat w/ gasket, upper radiator hose, and a Spectre air filter. Replaced the cap and filter. Much later i took it to get food but it still wanted to run 220° when the auxiliary fan (plugged it back in) would cut on and it would hold around there.

Took it in the quarry, got it muddy.
going to sleep for a few hours then have to tackle a "minor" problem, gas tank is leaking :/
Gotta drop the skidplate and try and see whats what.
Hopefuly it always had a leak and is just filled up past the hole, this is the first time it has been sitting with a full tank, but not very likely.
I think i need a snorkel, lotta mud got in the airbox (filter stayed dry however)

Replaced cluster with a used one that was going to get thorn out at the dealership I work at(works and has only 55k on it), fixed fog light switch(melted), cleaned radiator overflow tank out(had dried coolant caked to bottom), had the new wheels mounted and two new tires installed(15" KMC I got as scratch/dent from Tirerack, pics coming) by a tire tech at work. Took to my inlaws to do a complete brake job front and rear and replace all front end stabilizer bushings.
Got the right front caliper, rotor, pads and brake hose replaced and went to do the left front. One wheel nut was super hard coming of and it finally gave - stripped the splines off the stud in the hub(open and drink beer). Well, apparently the tire tech from work who put on my new wheels cross threaded one wheel stud/nut and I couldn't get the wheel off Had to destroy the new wheel center cap to get to axle nut(open and drink beer), somehow was able to break all three wheel hub bolts free with wheel still on(open and drink beer). Had just enough clearance to get the brake caliper off so I could remove the whole wheel/hub/rotor assembly (open and drink beer)
.
Took the wheel over to my uncles house so he could torch the stud out and I could get my new wheel off the hub & rotor (drink beer)
.
Then had to go to Autozone to get new hub(since the new one I had was locked up at work and I don't have a key to get in) $66.00. Took it back to the pole barn , got it together finally.(drink several beers)
Needless to say, I didn't get the rear brakes or the front stabilizer bushings done, because it was dark and I was ready for a beer(I mean a few more, since I popped one as soon as I saw the wheel stud start spinning )
