What did you do to your Cherokee today?

Year: 1993 YJ Wrangler
Engine: 4.0 I6
XJs ended with the 2001 model year, while the Liberty began with 2002. Outside the US, Liberty is sold as a "Cherokee." The Commander just resembles the Cherokee more.

And as far as a jk goes they are the best jeep made now, I've lifted Prolly a hundred of them, very capable jeeps and you can fit a 35 with a little plastic trimming and a 2" budget boost, only thing I hate is the v6 they put in them

There's a solid-front-axle conversion kit for the Liberty. It costs around $8k, though.
