What did you do to your Cherokee today?

Guess I'll chime in too...my gf drives a JK (bright yellow of course, facepalm). But it's an X, so here's what I'll give it credit for.
D44 rear and D30 front, NVG Tcase that you actually have to shift, slip yoke already in the shaft instead of the case design out NP231s have. Suspension is insanely easy to take apart for lifts and whatnot, and it's flex is good even with the swaybars. Oh and the engine compartment is massive for te tiny V6, which makes it better to work on.
What I hate, it feels massive and your ability to "feel" the corners of the vehicle suck. They offer it with an auto and only the stupid v6 (minivan engine), it feels absolutely gutless, no torque at all, you can't hear the motor at all, and it's programmed to shift for no power. It' has electric windows and locks...pita to take the doors off, and a windshield that "folds down" after a ton of work and if you don't set it back perfectly it will leak water. It doesn't even have an LSD diff and it's the "X" version. And even putting the soft top down is a major pita. It came with street tread Goodyear "wranglers" which is a shame, and it has cheesy plastic footboard so moms can get in, And it gets 20mpg, so all that lost power and aero dynamic styling improvement and it only gets a few mpg better than my 4.0 XJ....oh and it's bright fing yellow! I hate the thing, my XJ is a much better vehicle and if I want no top or doors I'll buy an old CJ-5 or flatfender ******.

Yesterday I took it to Broken Arrow trail in Sedona,AZ. My nearly stock XJ kept up with a 6" Lifted JKU and the Pink Jeep Tour TJs. I was so proud haha now I'm explaining a unibody to my dad who thinks I have body bushings lol
