used a few of my myriad walmart bags to cover the relays and distributer. i missed the front by the alternator if you do that area guess cover that as well for good measure.
So far no noticable leaks around valve cover or head which was the big reason I wanted to clean it just to keep an eye on things.

Checked the wiring in my radio and antenna, sometimes it works fine, other times the clock doesn't even come on. But when it does work the FM almost never works. I think my head unit is shot. Also, I noticed the head unit has a date stamped in it that is 3 years after my 1999 Cherokee was built, so it's obviously not original. Not sure if this is causing the problem.
Also I climbed under it and tried to see if there was anything loose. I get a rattle from underneath the engine when I'm around 1500-2000 rpm but not below or above that rpm.

Realized today that my passenger side rear shock is blown up... Again. And that the bracket for the e-brake lines has broken off of the diff housing. Oh yea. and my custom coat hanger exhaust is hanging once again... Should be a fun weekend making repairs and cleaning that nasty thing! But i must say... She does have some beautiful new dents from last friday evening in the creek
