Replaced my multi function switch (blinker switch) and found out all my fuses are good so when I get time it looks like I'll be checking threads for replacing my washer fluid pump.

MAN THESE THINGS ARE BEEF!!

http://www.liquidironindustries.com/...roductid=18222

These XJ bolt-on leaf sliders from Liquid Iron Industries bring the proven reliable performance of the original slider boxes to the DIY market. They are designed to be a direct bolt in replacement for original shackles in the rear of 84-01 Jeep Cherokees. A massive increase in lateral stability and ride quality are just a few of the many advantages one can expect after installing a set of leaf sliders.

Features:
  • 100% Bolt-on installation using factory shackle and hitch mounting points
  • CNC cut from high quality USA made steel plate to ensure precise fit and finish
  • High quality American made UHMW plastic bushings for long service life
  • 4130 alloy crush sleeves for extended bushing life
  • Manufactured in the USA to LII's demanding specifications
Ordinary shackle setups act as a pivot on a bushing. When an extended shackle is installed for more lift, this pivot action is multiplied. In off camber or cornering situations, this pivot action makes the rear end feel loose and unpredictable. Shackle sliders eliminate the pivot action all together which results in a much tighter, more predictable suspension. They also eliminate bad shackle angles known to cause horrible ride characteristics in XJ rear suspensions. The angle of the slide track produces a smooth, tight, and flexible ride much like that of a 4-link suspension at a fraction of the cost.
Price includes one pair of slider boxes with appropriate installation hardware. Ships bare.

Pulled a "new" fan shroud from the JY ($10!?!?!?!). Snapped in my hand as I was cleaning it. I cursed, then took out the super glue.

Got some fuel hose for my evap return line. Pulled out the old rusty steel one and replaced it. Found the small leak in the old rusty steel line. Hopefully that fixes it.

Hit my rear diff with some black rust reverter.

Yeah me too, that's why I got it. I had to screw it into the floor, it came 2 drywall screws lol. I used some 2 inch self tappers and it holds well. The storage area is pretty large too, and there is cupholders in the back. Fits perfect too.

Default Rack em up

Long weeks work, now a long weekend. Excercised the dog with a river run then tossed our muddy towels and cloths in with my wifes laundry delicates. Extra bleach, hot water, mixed load, how can you go wrong?
A little BBQ for some energy and then out for some jeep time. What a great start. Peep rolled 562200+km, Oil and Filters time. Then finished some brackets on the roof rack project. Lots of pics in the album. Wife kept the beer cool and the pup supplied with chewwy snacks.
Stainless tube, bar, fasteners. Solid. Ive replaced most of the roof rail grommet/thread inserts with steel expansion anchors and home fitted grommets, sealed and secure. We've got a good base start. Rework on the light system coming soon.
