Anyway... today I ripped apart the entire front suspension to try and beat my bent lower control arm mounts back in place. Didn't work at all, then it took me about 4 hours to get the suspension back together. Things don't line up well when stuff is bent

Really? Maybe the pics I've seen don't have them :S
The welds on mine don't look like what I'd expect from the factory. Plus i can see in some spots there have been two coats of paint, on the inside there are little globs of metal that must have cooled off and stuck there before being painted. Weird though, maybe it is OEM after all lol

X2 on the Eagle Scout. I've been told by past employers they hired me because of the fact im an Eagle Scout! As a matter of fact, i applied for a job a few years ago and so did my friend and the only difference on our applications was that im an Eagle Scout. I got the job.
Thanks Guys!! It was a lot of work but well worth it

Messed around with the AC today.........now she'll freeze ya out of the cab. It was only cooling down to 60 degrees which on a 89 degree day just wasn't cutting it after my son's baseball practice.

I replaced the electric cooling fan that was making some crunching/groaning noises when it would turn on.
After I installed the new fan I thought driving up the canyon would be a great way to heat up the engine so I could make sure it would work flawlessly .

I was tired of the puny sounding stock horn setup, so I installed a set of Hella 003001621 12V 3-Trumpet Air Horns. I mounted the compressor to the radiator support on the driver side and the horns on the inner fender on the same side. The install took a little over an hour, and the horns sound great, high pitched and very LOUD! I found them on Ebay for 20 bucks plus shipping, at that price I couldn't pass them up.

Who me? What lights? Though as a general rule, zombie-hardening should be practiced on all things.
Grats on the Eagle Scout, I had to look it up... ever heard of it up here before. After being in the kids program for a while I'm now Quarter Master for a bi-annual camporee. The Americans that come over are generally from NY, PA, MA and MI, but I do remember one giant troop from Maryland that charters a coach lol
