Actually filled my tank!... Woo hoo!....

Now added some seafoam to the fuel... Hope it does as well on the old jeep injectors as it did on my bike!

Got my lower radiator hose replaced...and my cooling system flushed...and refilled...I wish I could have did it (would have been a heck of a lot cheaper) but I probably would have found a way to screw something up

tapped bolt hole, JB welded the broken chunk of thermo housing, bought new housing, reconnecting everything tommorow and hopefully she doesn't overheat anymore.

Finally got my new thermostat housing. Going to replace that, replace my water pump, put in a new lower radiator hose, and then fill her up with coolant so shes ready for the 900 mile trip back home this weekend.

New alternator.
Check gauges light came on, amperage gauge was pegged to 9 volts.

Put my meter on my month old battery and had 12.4 volts at rest so I fired it up and had 12.3 volts and dropping while running.

Got me a new suspected alternator and had it changed in a half hour.
Took the core back to the parts store and the salesman looked at me funny and said " wrong one?"......I was like " no, this is the old one...it's fixed.

He said " Holy crap, that was fast".

My reply?....dude, it's a Mopar.....Mopars rule.

Thanked mine for being so well behaved lately and then walked across the parking lot to crawl under the girlfriend's xj to try and locate a small gas leak. Damn temperamental thing.

What happens when you spray wd40 into your newly rebuilt engine?

nothing - it burns off when you start it, or mixes with the oil.

So the engine won't catch on fire. I've heard wd40 evaporates quickly but I don't want my engine that i just payed $1500 to be ruined. (I'm a little paranoid)

So how do you like your lift kit? Are the leaf springs stiff?
