Patched the biggest hole left under the back seat, only two mid sized holes around the wheel well and I'll be done with rust! and filled her up. Then stupidly found out that the button on the end of the blinker arm was cruise control

hey dukie, check Randy's Electrical Corner in the July '12 issue of JP - he just did this exact setup you are talking about.

well, not today, but starting with monday - gave the xj a bath in between rain bands from TS Debbie - then I gave the WJ a bath on tuesday - finished up wednesday by waxing the WJ, re-attached the lower part of the bumper that was hanging down, tracked down an exhaust leak to a coupler and clamps that the P.O. had put on the y-pipe, and waxed and buffed out the headlights untill I can afford my new housings

still waiting on my buddy to weld up my door hinge.. might just have to drive out to the Uncle's place to get it done

Finally got the xj on the road after spending an hour at the registration office ,changing the papers over ,and getting the important bit of paper we have to display in the windshield here in the UK

then on the way home from then I had a tyre blow out luckily I wasnt going that fast so Im back on the 215's instead of my 31's

and then I washed and polished it and have been driving round with a massive grin on my face ever since

Re-drilled the track bar and got everything centered. Tomorrow is alignment and we'll see how that goes... I know i need new sway bar bushings so i'll see what else they say. The 20 mile trip to my grandpa's house is worth it in every way so i can spend time with him (and some with the XJ lol), he's got a ton to teach me. When i got back home i got an awesome surprise that my steel came in!! (Got it from discountsteel.com, anyone know of a cheaper/better place? They're awesome but just looking) So next project can begin shortly! Hopefully tomorrow i'll get my door plugs and doorless will be in the near future...

Put these on ! Jeep runs ALOT better now!

Before was a 19 yr old catalytic that was clogged and broke along with regular metal pipe as a straight pipe , one weld was broke all around It

Now actually new and done right I feel more response and more power then before , plus it feels way smoother/cleaner!
