installed the remaining parts so my CB is now functional.

"discovered" my RE rear brake line only accepts 3/8 threads where as my cherokee only loves the metric . My fault for not attempting it before ripping it but hey, this standard metric thing gets me at work every day too.

sacked up and bought an aussie for the front.

Um, is this at full droop? If not then you sir need some relocation brackets as your shackle angle sucks

Yes, it is wrong. Your angle needs to be around 45 degrees pointing backwards. This will allow for more travel and a much better ride. What spring/shackle combo and how much lift? But you may just have tightened the bolts to much. Best shackle angle

Installed my Class III Reese hitch finally. It took some "persuasion", to clean up some old (but minor) rear-end damage. Now I gotta do the wiring and electric brakes...

Well, not today, but this past weekend, I swapped my gauge cluster for real gauges, fixed the speedo cable, replaced the flexplate, adjusted my hood, repaird my rear window grommet, located some new rims and got a class III hitch. Oh, also got new door keys made as I couldn't find the original.
