My awesome fiance got me an Aussie Locker for my Dana 30 for my birthday. It's going in Saturday and is going to go great with my already locked Chryco 8.25.

Default Afternoon job

Replaced rear wiper motor- Installed third brake light from 1994 into my 1985*1991 combo-Took about 4 hours with excursion to JY. Pretty much self explanatory. I dont have a defroster on my rear glass, but all of the wiring in my jeep is 1991 so the wiring had the heavy defrost wiring(very good as i dont have to fish new wire into the lift gate) After i did my 4 cyl to HO 6 cyl swap i hijacked the defrost switch and wiring to run my rock lights, so i cut the defrost harness at the tail light and taped into the brake light harness for power to the third brake light!!! Works great.

Fnished up my power antenna install. Had to modify the MOPAR replacement to fit my '91 Laredo. It was not like original at all. Parts verified it was the "correct" number. Right.

Replaced the RH inner fender liner while I was in there. The old one broke into chunks trying to bring it out for the antenna replacement. In fact, a big chunk broke off while I was on the freeway previously.

Replaced the muffler hanger with OEM part.

I paid for my 1992 Jeep Cherokee and started making a list of all the priority work that has to happen before worrying about cosmetics. Needs a complete tune-up, brakes, muffler, etc.....

last night I fixed a couple vacuum lines and checked my oil. XJ idles better now, although it idles at like 250 rpm. Also, I took one of those stupid XJ cup holders that mounts above the ebrake handle and dremel'd the bottom out of it to accept a 44 oz fountain drink cup. Then I installed it with some washers on the screws so it wont break off again, and finished the evening out by screwing the console lid back on with some huge wood screws.
