Pulled, cleaned, checked and regapped my spark plugs to 0.035". Found them all to be between 0.045" and 0.050".
Rewired part of the head lamp and fog lamp circuitry in an attempt to resolve High Beam Latch Up (HBLU) condition. Condition was introduced with installation of eAutoworks H4 High Intensity Headlamp Harness. HBLU remains...

Found a J10 for sale on the way home from work. It was parked on the side of a farm road that runs parallel to the highway, so I pulled onto the shoulder, backed up, and crossed the divide to look at it. I got back to the highway the same way, and I noticed when I started accelerating that my exhaust had gotten louder. I crawled under when I got home and saw the cat-back bolts had fallen out, so I was open and loud. When I tried to reattach it, I found that the bolts between the manifold and downpipe are also very loose, and I wasn't getting any exhaust out of my tailpipe at all. So I tightened stuff down the best I could without burning myself on the block or exhaust, and I reattached my cat-back. Not great, but it's a lot better.

Serpentine belt noise be gone!
I bought a 92 XJ approx 2 weeks ago with 100k miles, it had an awful squealing belt noise even though it had a new belt on it. the previous owner said he had tried everything but no luck thus he wanted rid of it.
I tried WD-40, soap, belt dressing, etc to no avail. Upon close inspection, someone back in time had replaced the power steering pump with a rebuilt one, they don't come with the pulley so you have to use your own
evidently, they did't know about the required pulley puller tool and beat it off with a hammer, the pulley was mangled on both sides, after I got it off I even found where they had used a sawzall and had tried to cut the pulley off! a replacement pulley from Advance Auto for $15 pressed on with the tool took away about 80% of the noise, a chirping remained. I replaced the belt with a new Dayco Poly Rib and silence is golden! I suppose someone had over torqued the old new belt and damaged it.
I am very proud of myself!
