Friday 5-29: recently purchased '92 Laredo:
Finished installing RF speaker and reinstalled door panel.
After pulling instrument panel bezel on Wednesday, I replaced the light bulbs in the climate control panel, ashtray light, and cigarette lighter ring. Removed stock AM/FM/Cassette. Went to Best Buy and exchaged the wiring harness that they sold me that was wrong for the correct one. Called 2 Jeep dealers to verify the "MAINT REQ'D" timer was no longer available to turn off the light. They didn't really know what i was talking about. Hmmmm......
That light bulb will probably get broken or removed soon.

Saturday 5-30: wired up jumper harness to go between stock connector and the connector to the Pioneer AM/FM/CD I am preparing to install.
I am going to have to work further on the "illumination" and "dimmer" section/connections. Wired the way I did it, the headlights on buzzer was sounding off weakly. Must be a conflict somewhere or a backfeed. Glad i checked before radio was installed.

Got a new manifold, looked at XJ parts off craigslist, swapped out my old diff cover for this custom one, painted the front one to match the back:
