I think it's cool, the waggy grill may not look the best, but it has it's in jeep history, well done with the rubi wheels too!

Engine: 4.0L, sump guard, snorkel, LPG system, red and yellow top Optima batteries.

Finally convinced the wife that no one will buy it unlicensed ( of course once it is licensed I won't sell it, what else will tow the boat and take us fishing, camping and wheelin )
So made the list of repairs and mods to be done for registration.

Remove stinger bar
Remove spotties
Remove front swaybar disconnects
Replace left engine mount
Replace rancho air shocks with std shocks
Balance tyres with beads
Remove rust from wheels and respray
Replace seat belts
Replace brake pads and shoes
Fab some mudflap mounts
Repair wheel wells that stupid PO hacked to shreds when fitting bushwackers
Replace horns and move them into engine bay
Replace the 2 grommets on top of the rocker cover
Replace leaky radiator with a nice new 3 core copper and brass

And the job I am dreading the most and have put off for the last 2 years - replacing the bearing in the AC compressor

Same thing (kinda) happened to me bout a month ago.

Did the t stat, pump, belt, fan clutch, rad cap and two hoses. And I usually replace therm housing too. Well u decided to save a few bucks and reuse the old one. All was well, it clean, shiny after I hit it with the wire wheel. Well when I went to reinstall everything I was torquing down the therm housing alternating bolts. And Snap! It broke I'm two. Had to wait am hour for my Gpa to give me a ride to the parts store. Next time I'll just buy a new one... lol.

I don't have to do the radiator, AC or move the horns but the rest is a must

I'm not sure who you were asking but if its me I don't. Lol. Indianapolis, IN has no kind of inspections to speak of. We used to a long time ago, and they realized how much time/money/resources it tool and **** it down.

Just be glad it wasn't worse. I changed my tstat about a week after picking my XJ and I had the same thing happen, only a chunk snapped off the head instead of the housing.
