Well as of today my 1998 GC is in the body shop getting the hood, windshield and roof fixrd after a 6 foot piece of steel fell off a simi in front of me at 65 mph. Not pretty!
Next week I will be desiding between a 4 inch lift or a 6 inch lift and to do it myself or have a shop do it.
So I am looking to you guys for advice. This is not a daily driver so time is not a big deal. I am fairly good at working on my toy but have never attempted anything like this before. I know it want be cheap either way but it is the look I want for it.
So I am open to listen to your advice! What is a good product? Long or short Arm?

Swapped the street rubber for my 30" mudders. Trying to decide if I want to trim my fenders now or wait till I can finally afford a lift kit. If I do it now, I could run wider and larger tires as she sits.
What do you think?
I have yet to get stuck, but fully understand the benefits of a lift. I also know when to say when!
