Just installed new rear hatch hydrolics and changed the spark plugs. No more holdin the door with my head! My roof rack should be coming in soon. Time to start a build thread!

Just drove about 10 miles got up to 70. As straight and smooth as factory ride. Very pleased with the Rough Country so far.

If you haven't, you should get a good alignment and make sure they set your caster as well as toe in, most places won't do caster unless you ask

Finally wired up my four 100w spot lights on the roof. Also used the xj to pull a 1 ton chevy out of the woods that had been sitting there for over 5 years on four flats. The XJ never spun a tire or got over 1500rpms. Very proud of it.

Thanks for reminding me.. I need to replace my rear license plate tomorrow since it's at the bottom of this hole:

Don't worry, I made it home, thanks to my89xj and Pudgy Fingers, and put my front plate on the back:

Kept working on rear axle. After I took this pic I took a break for pizza then did one of the axle tubes. This is actually the bottom - the top of the diff and tubes are all clean. I covered it with a tarp since last working on it but the crazy rain and humidity made it rust up again on the top. Only have half of one axle tube (and the stupid shock mounts) to wire wheel before I can paint. So close

I don't know your plan, but I recommend the rattlecan bedliner for that. 96xjclassic used it on his 8.25, and it turned out really nice.

I was considering that actually. I think it'll put up with more abuse than the Tremclad I have sitting around here for other parts
