I pulled the fan clutch as I'm going to try the 98GC heavyduty fan clutch.
Someday I'm going to be able drive this steampot without having to keep one eye on the temp gage.

Just finished up a couple of things with my dad:
1. Painted flares black
2. Spray RhinoLined below the trim
3. Changed Oil
4. Change Diff. Oil
5. Fixed front speakers so they actually worked
6. New battery terminal
Good couple nights.. ending around 11:30
Pics will be up tomorrow(hopefully)
Pumped because i finally get to drive it after buying it a month ago(took awhile to get inspected, also took long to get plates)

Well last week my death wobble nearly killed me. I hit a small bump in the road at approx. 45mph and the wobble started. Before i could even hit the brakes there was a loud BANG! and the mounts that hold the sway bar and LCA to the pass side of my axle snapped off. I skidded into the oncoming lane (thank god there was no traffic) then managed to skid off the right side of the road. The coil was just dangling in front of the axle held to the top by rust and the tire was jammed into the back of the wheel well. NOT FUN. I got the entire front axle/suspension/steering assembly out of a 98 cherokee that was totalled with less than 2k miles on the clock for 300 bucks and with work and no garage i had a trusted local shop install everything for 400 bucks in labor. Now my death wobble is completely gone and I'm even seeing a big improvement in fuel mileage!

I added a Rough Country 3" lift, new brakes front & rear, new rear brake lines and tossed the sway bars in the scrap bin. The 31" MTR's still rub on the front lower arms but I am dealing. Actaully did this work a few weeks ago but I have only had the Jeep for a few months. Looking at rear loacker options next. Oh yeah, mashed the rear bumper the first weekend out!

I had the same wobble at 45 and suspected the badly worn front tires were the problem. Ordered 2 new 31" MTR's and had them mounted and balanced...she runs smooth now. I am not sure if taking both sway bars off was a good idea but after snapping both front studs to the axle mounts off during the lift install I will just deal with it.

Did some maintenance, changed the oil, added some power steering fluid, and some tranny fluids. Measured how much piping I need for my cold air intake that I'm building for the Jeep. Replaced my bad fuses, and got new once in. Other then that, she's parked out back... lol...

Right after the race is over, today. I will be replcing the 3rd broken adjustable end on my NICE Rusty's Off Road track bar. I froke it while crossing the river at the start of the Lake Isabelle Trail up at Reiter Trails, yesterday.
