New Rancho RS5000's all the way around, Rugged Ridge ORV steering stabilizer, new sway bar bushings frame side all the way around, new sway bar links front and back, changed front differential fluid, greased everything and put a sticker on! Oh, and also covered the rear seat hold down connector with some left over Dyna-Mat. that cheared up the rattling.
Got my 1 Ton TRE's in today. Gonna get the steering replaced soon with 1.5"x.25" wall DOM. Just tired of the stock steering. Besides, i don't think the 1 ton steering is gonna have a problem handling my 33's.
Also got my shock to axle mount tabs in from Ballistic fab and welded them up. Slight issue with my 6" lift shocks being to long. Ugh. Gotta get some shorter ones soon too. And yes they are angled on purpose. I didn't want the shock to bind under full droop.
Can't beat the tabs for .99c each.

Ordered my D30 bearing kit, U-joints for my front DS, door bushings and HD front coils. Nothing big, but this finishes my driveline rebuilding for this year. Tranny and rear diff are all that's left to rebuild/replace. That's next year's project.

i don't understand how you expect that not to bind - you changed the direction of the mount - now it'll bind all the time instead of just at full droop....you took all the rotation out of the joint - bushings aren't meant to flex like that.

I realize the other way is the way to go but i had to do something considering the stock mounts were about to fall off.

theory? It's mechanics lol. It's got to bind up at some point, either compression or droop, depending on what position the axle was in when you tacked it up. It may "work", but you'll blow through bushings very quickly

And it didn't bind at all on compression or droop. Not lying, it might be my bushings are already kinda worn but it didn't. Anyways, to be honest, i didn't think about the bushings wearing out.
Problem will be fixed in a few hours.

Picked up a Durango steering box. Just waiting for the C-rok brace then I can finally have steering that doesn't pop, bang, grind, leak half a quart a day, and barely push 31s all while sounding like Chewbacca taking a dump.
