The wife was so eager to help me wash my Jeep, almost insisting. What a good day.

Torched off my rock sliders today. Gonna use them to make a rear and possibly front stubby bumper. Gonna make new sliders out of 2x6x1/4" later to replace my rockers. Took about 45 mins to torch off... Turns out the 2"x2"x3/16" that we cut(from frame rails to sliders) was some kind of space grade alien made hard as crap steel that was nearly impossible to torch through. Finally got the steel hot enough to beat with a sledge hammer so it would tear apart. Saws-all wouldn't cut it either.

Other than that, nada.

Default Fall tune up.

Long overdue radiator swap. Had a crack in the upper right corner. Everything went relatively smooth. Replaced the rear liftgate struts. No more wedging of the ski pole when i want to open my liftgate. I also eliminated a few squeaks that originated from the brake pedal and the steering wheel (silicone lubricant did the trick).

I was working all day on my house so I didn't have much time for the jeep but I did get the front left on. Looks like I'm buying 33's sooner than I thought! Anyone want to buy some 31's with 1500 miles on them???

I am guessing 3" as the 31" tires seems to have a top ht. at about the bumper line on the front fender. I could see it being upto 4". I am just guessing, for fun.

New springs and 2" BB. Before: 17.5" front and 16" rear from center of hub to fender flare. After: 20" front and 19.5" rear but, I think the springs need time to settle because the shackles are almost vertical and it looks kinda jacked up in the back right now. Sorry about the poor quality of the bottom pic, it was taken earlier in the morning.

Oh yeah...........I cleaned my wheels too.

Decided to play race car driver threw my neighborhood coming home from sleeping at a buddies. My clutch smelled so bad afterwords LOL, it can't handle my aggressive driving skills. Also probably burned 2 gallons of fuel.
