UGH. I read everywhere that Timkens are the best. I just ordered these yesterday for $77, and now it seems like they are garbage. So much for forum wisdom. Please tell me you beat on your truck off-roading and THAT'S why you have bad hubs inside of a year. I can still return them to ROCKAuto and buy something else. Should I bail on the Timkens? What should I get instead?

Got my idle issue fixed, it was loose manifold bolts on the bottom. Did a new oil change with some restore treatment and a quick seafoam shot to clean everything out.

This weeks gonna be pretty busy for me and my jeep. I replaced a fan pulley and did an oil change Monday, i went down and had my alarm system adjusted since it would go of inconsistently and I also ran some wire for my new speakers which should be here today, today I plan to hook up my speakers and mess with the placement and full system tuning, tomorrow I have to replace my valve cover gasket, and hopefully nothing on Friday! I'm trying to make sure it's in tip top shape so I have no problems when rain starts to hit so-cal and I get to give it a nice refreshing mud bath

Here is a pic of the fun I had with the rattle can last week

I repainted most of the steering components black then I painted my tie rod silver and my diff cover blue to match my rear diff cover

I also found out that my oil leak is because my oil pan gasket is bad on the passenger side. It's not a bad leak so ill leave it be until my next oil change then ill drop the pan and replace it. I'm sure once I get the gasket replaced ill get another oil leak somewhere else, but that's just how jeeps are lol

If you haven't done it already, change the oil pump and pickup while you have the pan off.
