Yesterday I cut and folded my fenders. An electric grinder works wonders. I found out just how bad sheet metal can cut my finger.

Today I Herc'ed my rear quarters and front fender lip.

Like attached to the bumper or using a tow hook bracket on the frame rail?

This is what I did today (after only 18hrs of owning our new toy)...

-got her registered/insured
-took her to a buddy to look at the engine and figured out I need to replace the valve cover gasket
-then got an oil change since I was seriously low...poor girl
-got her a nice bath and had all the boys there drooling over her, LOL! Pretty black paint always wins I guess.
-took her on a nice long ride around town to open things up
-took her home and took pics to show all my friends online and email to the parents.
-about an hour ago I tucked her in for the night and gave her a hug and told her to sleep tight.

I had some extra herculiner and did the back hatch up to the body line... ran out before the second coat. So now my herc wraps around the entire back. I hope it looks good in the morning because I finished after it got dark.

This past week I swapped my 8.25 for a D44 with an Aussie locker, changed my oil pump to a High Volume one which increased my pressure about 4 lbs overall and I finally took it for a test drive tonight. The Aussie makes a ratcheting noise when turning and it's really noticable on tight turns but seems to be working properly. Next I want to raise the jeep 3" and install the front Aussie. If it were my daily driver I don't think I could stand the noise from the Aussie's but I plan to use it as a trail rig mostly and if the lockers work then it's worth putting up with the noise for the price.

Haha, well what can I say? I love any vehicle I own. I just grew up with a dad who was obsessed with his cars and I just kind of followed suit. Plus she is soooo shiny and clean and I want to treat her well. LOL! It's my first "truck" ever and I'm started to be very glad it's a Jeep and not a dodge like my dad wished I got.

Received new wheels today, and replaced my Red Ones with the Black Rock wheels.

Also a pic of the 01 grill I painted and installed.
