How can you tell what the gearing is on it?
There should be a tag on the pumpkin which will read something like this
3L55=LSD 3.55
355= open 3.55
4L10=LSD 4.10

you get the idea

Sunday went to check deer hunting area and needed 4wd to get to the top of mountain with SIL's 95 Sport.
Tuesday had BFGs put on my 99 Sport just for a start, need to trim front bumper plastic.
More pics of SIL's 95 at a mud run with grandson...

Didn't actually do anything, but ordered some exhaust and bumper stuff.

new tail pipe
hangers
3/4 shackles
weld through clevis mounts from AtoZ fab

Hollowing out rule #5 and running an 11' Subaru STI resonator off it instead of a muffler.

Drove it to the Y, then when I got back to school I parked next to another xj with what seemed to have a 3" lift, I have a 3.5" so mine was slightly bigger

I discovered that my oil filter adapter is actually made of metal!!! However my starter seems to be made of oil.

(degreaser and washed engine bay, have to do it a few more times. Also washed rest of it)

Found a Craigslist special for some really good-condition 1993 ZJ front seats. $75 for the pair and I'll have some comfy seats for the 2WD by tomorrow evening! Also, arriving today were my MSD 8.5mm plug wires and a Summit Racing cap & rotor with brass terminals. Just gotta pick up some Champion plugs and I think I can finally get started with that tuneup.

I sat in it for a couple minutes before starting it up for work and thanked it for giving me one year TODAY of reliable, rugged, go-anywhere AWESOMENESS and being my "woods buddy" on many occasions w not even a hiccup. Here's to another year (and more) of the same, only in a more lifted, big-tired badass way. LOVE my XJ
