Mine seem to be fine as they are, but might as well replace them before they do break.

Yeah, mine looked like that when I took them out, too. I had no idea! I upgraded to Brown Dog mounts and had to lift the engine like 2 inches to get them on. Guess the engine had settled over the years...

I attempted to replace my serpentine belt before work....its on but

1: I will find and kill whoever suggested the power steering pump be the tensior pulley

2: It isnt tight enough but I had to leave for work so when I get home after working 12 hours overnight I have to tighten it.....................

2000 Manifold wont work with older heads. The port sizes are different.

i went to get all the old parts from my friends house and his stepdad did something with it and i cant find out what. and besides. i have a 2000 with a coil pack. id have to swap entire exhaust and wireing harness and comp because i also have cali emissions. i think i have the wrong gasket tho. i have the gasket for a 96 exhaust. im gonna try a 2000 gasket and see if it will work. i hope so......

also when i said part of #1 port hole i meant in the gasket not the head.

I must have been doing something wrong it was mostly 12, 13 and 9/16 wrenches climbing underneath and **** trying to get it to loosen as I couldnt reach two screws from the top

I replaced my 2 month old CRAPPY auto zone battery terminals, that after you tighten and untighten about 5 times you can remove them WITHOUT a wrench.

with some HD military battery terminals and boots, and BOY ARE THEY BEEFY (maybe overkill, but SO) they aint going ANYWHERE

I hate their terminals. They're universal so yea they suck. I had the same issue. Found some set in my pops tool box. A world of difference

What year is yours. I'm on my app. Newer engines its a 15mm wrench to loosen the idler puller and a 15mm socket to adjust the tension using the top bolt on the power steering
