Replaced my radiator. Started last night, finished this afternoon. The tranny cooler line was a B! Said screw it, picked up some 3/8 fuel line and clamps, hacked off the old tube, fitted the new one. No leaks!
Though my only concern is I looked up the specs online and it said the system holds 3 3/4 gallons of coolant. I've put in 2 gallons and it won't take anymore. Drove it around the block to full temp, let it sit and cool and refilled the reservoir that was 1/2 drained. Drove it again, waiting for it to cool but the reservoirs still at the full mark. Hmm
Old crusty leaking radiator. Bleh

Looks like you got a WJ skid plate there... these are ZJ, I've got the same one in my shed waiting to go on.
On topic, I finally tracked down Redline MT-90. I had resigned to having to get some shipped or travel 3 hours to a specialty shop (well, stop in during a trip) but it was just on the shelf at freakin' NAPA all of a sudden

Picked up a set of Poison Spyder original Dana 30 and 35 diff covers. Kept the 30 and installed. Dana 35 poison spyder diff cover for sale ($40+shipping) because I have already have an 8.25 with a riddler diff cover. Installed with a reusable gasket and filled with Royal Purple! Took an hour and half to drain/clean/install/refill.
Unit bearing was in desperate need of replacement. USA made Timken installed. Only took an hour and went well.

It is good and bad. I can moreeasily diagnose the problem w/ the CEL. The improved power and efficiency is nice. But it also hasto mean the sensors actually work to indicate a problem. There is def. a problem with mine. I'll get it fixed, always do, just takes time and money.

Radiator job: Is the tranny cooler line something that will force me to tow the 1/2 done job to a professional? Did you use one of these? I am buying all 3 to prepare...
