I drove around for about a month with the entire interior carpet stripped out. The noise was crazy. I bed lined the tub and now it is as quite if not more than the carpet that was in it. Not sure if you even need the sound proofing.

Put on some 1.5" wheel spacers on today. Drove horribly after that so I took them right back off again.

I run 1.25" spydertrax spacers, hub concentric, 100ft lb, no problems thru 3 years.
Today the temp came up 25 deg, will hold till wed. then back to deep freeze. The Pooch and I got dirty as dogs. Then hosed off good one last time before winter. Checked all wheel nuts torque and put the Peep and the Pooch to bed.

my factory one has lasted since 1989.
I have to agree with od on this one. Steering stabilizers will ALL fail if your using them to "hide" the real problem. Those stamped steel LC arms are the real problem. You can hang all the stabilzers you want, it's just a band-aid.

I dont think it was a problem with the spacers. Just that I already have 4" backspacing then added the spacers. Steering felt heavier and it wanted to wander on the road. With stock rims the spacers probably would have worked just fine

I was going to use spray sound/heat shield then roll on bed liner over it. Only bed liner if i didn't like the finish from the head shield.
