Saturday - Replaced the plugs (Champion copper), wires (Bosch 09824 Premium), cap ( Duralast F980, which coincidentally is the same as a 1992 F150 4.9L I6) and rotor ( Duralast also) THEN took her out in the light snow/ice we had w my rather bald tires and had some fun! Runs SO MUCH better at idle, more responsive off idle and thru the whole RPM range it feels smoother and more powerful. I never noticed that it ran poorly until the tune up. Hoping for an MPG or two, the old cap/rotor were crap and the plugs were JUNK! center electrodes worn down at a weird angle and just old and worn in general, ill post pics when home.

Finally got the headliner in and my baby stroller cup holder. Tomorrow I'll hopefully install the new shocks all around and pickup leaf springs. Also need to make the BDU covers for the sun visors

Locker was on the front doorstep when I got home. Thanks RWK Haus Supply! Can't wait to rebuild my D30 & install it.....
Awefully big box for such small parts....
Next step is to decide on 4.56 gears or 4.88 gears.......

4.88 + 33-35 tires is the best, 30-31 +4.11, 31-33 + 4.56, up to you

I pissed it off. Changed the oil, using Mobile1 instead of Royal Purple since i couldn't afford it. My engine sounds like an old diesel Econoline now.
Installed falken wildpeak 31 1050 at's Ran wildspirit mt's for the last two years that were given to me. All vibes gone at around 60mph. Love the smooth ride, night and day. They got decent reviews for off-road, but don't sling mud the best. Wow. Never thought new shoes would make such a difference
