Replaced my driver front power window regulator today; I had the plastic piece that connects the cable to the window mount break on me. I started to do the cotter pin repair (http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...ulator_Fix.htm ) but found that the cable was jammed, so I ended up replacing the whole regulator and motor with the Dorman part from Autozone. Paid about 2X the cost I would have paid at Rockauto.com, but they had the part next day. Oh well...

So uh... What locker is good when you dont really make enough money to get an air locker?

D44 30 spline/open would be what I want?

If this goes somewhere else I'm sorry.

First off, don't buy from Rocky Road. Secondly, ask here:

Everything I've seen says they were good until the company switched hands a few years ago. I haven't read a single positive review since then. Also, they write up their pages like the rest of the industry is incompetent, and I don't trust them if that's the only way they can sell products. Finally, I've never received an answer to any of my calls or emails.

Sorry... I'm done trolling now

Anyway... not today, but this past weekend... I mean last week.... OKAY FINE, LAST WEEKEND!

Removed the rear bumper, took off the rear interior trim pieces, pulled up the carpet and prepared to cut as much away as I could to get to the frame nut that broke free from the welds and prevented me from removing the shackle on the passenger side...

FAIL

so I then had 2 options.... A) Swap the leaf springs so that the one that is sagging (driver's side) will be on the side with less constant weight (passenger's side) and at least have it sit level... but still sag -OR- B) Take out the shackle on the driver's side and put in the extended shackle to lift up the driver's side so that the jeep sits level AND no longer sags

hmmmm....

So I proceded with option B

end result - good band-aid until I can get my lift
