My front brakes were pretty shot on the jeep and the rotors just began warping so I figured it was time to do em. Advance auto had a sale spend $100 oline and get a $50 gift card so it was perfect timing. While I was doing the front I wanted to clean up the rears I replaced not long ago cuz the drums were already completely covered in rust, So I brought out the rattle can and some 1500 degree paint.
Used the bag for the brakes to keep the rotors clean and then used steel wool and brake cleaner to get the over spray off. The brake cleaner when right through the paint with a lil scrubbing prolly dont even need the steel wool.
Also needed to replace the automatic adjusters. These are the first drum brakes and I didnt know I needed em. I tried cleaning and lubing the originals but they didnt last.

I looked at it through my living room window....
It's pretty much parked until after the holidays unfortunately. Too many problems, not enough cash.

Drove it to work on my Grandmas 07 Buick Tarezza. What a headache. Starter wasn't doing anything. Get it out after fighting it. Had it tested. Passed. ****. Put it back in and it would move the solenoid but not spin. Then wouldn't do anything. Took battery out. 8% charge. ****. Its on the charger. Gonna have to check it out tomorrow.
Working on that thing made me LOVE my Jeep more. 99 is new enough for me. That 07 has a sensor on every damn hose and wire. Blah!

No4x4yet, I like the paint on the rotors and drums.
Went to the JY and found the plastic support for the rear speakers so I was able to finish the headliner. While there, I pulled a door pin to replace the one I had missing. Replaced the rear wiper blade.
After that I notice some oil leaking from the front of the oil pan. Got under there and found that one of the bolts in the front corner of the pan was loose. I replaced the rear main seal and pan gasket several months ago and made sure they were all tight. I don't know how it all of a sudden decided to get loose, so I tightened it. The oil was concentrated around the bolt so I am pretty sure that is where it was coming from.
