How did you do the headlights? WAY interested in this mod, been thinking of doing it for a while now....

It was actually super easy. Went to the junkyard and pulled the headlights and buckets from a chevy c/k which is pretty much a 2nd gen silverado. on the xj, take off the plastic trim and unplug the turn signals, unscrew the bucket and unplug the light. Keep the spring from the xj light then just screw the bucket up with the spring attached. The screws will be a little crooked because it's not an exact fit but they hold. Im probably gonna make some sheet metal rings to hold it better tomorrow but then put back in the turn signals and trim. Tomorrow Im cutting the front though

Thanks! You should submit a write-up on this....I'll bet lots of peeps would love you for it....I'll be heading to pick a part this weekend to do this one...

I may do a write up but I dont know if it's really enough of detail to need to do a write up and how much most people dislike the look idk if it would get accepted but Ill do one for sure tomorrow
