I THINK you can drive any speed in full time as long as it was engaged under 55mph. I believe I read up to 80mph

You can run on dry pavement in 4x4. Pretty pointless.

The po had mounted a fishing poll rack there, drilled and bolted it on. Took it off when I bought it so the holes were there. I just bored them out to make them a little bigger, best par was that I didn't have to do any measurements really, holes are evenly spaced

Did you have to remove your bumper to tighten them down? I've got two cheap fogs on my front bumper and I guess since I have a front skid plate I could get anything back there without taking the bumper off.. Pain in the ***

That's the reason I debated putting them on. I've taken the bumper off a few times and it is a pain. I don't have the skid so I was able to reach through the hole in the crossmember with a angled ratcheting wrench. Still was a pain but way easier than taking the bumper off. I just ran the wires through the grill

Dont you now have to deal with the viscous coupler. I prefer solid no slip

Last saturday my brother was driving my dads jeep and the rear driveshaft had a u-joint go, hour later I called saying I had a flat with my cherokee when I got out from work. Today got everything fixed but some of my lug nuts were seized. Took some time but got it. Except now one wheel is black and the rest are silver. Did I mention it is 20 degrees and snowing?

Not sure where this "55 mph" business came from. The manuals for both transfer cases allow shifting between any of the high-range settings at "any legal speed", which is to say: Any speed. Just relieve/reduce the amount of torque going through and move the selector. cruiser54 has done this at 80mph before. There's no magic behind it, it's just in their to cover their asses.

Like trying to stand on a soccer ball on an ice rink. And even if you can do it, somebody will feel the need to hit you.
