dude dont say that!! pray to God not.. =\ im praying the frame is still aligned atleast. if so i just gatta cut out the rot and weld in new metal then weld on the frame stiffeners. well, my dads friend whos a mechanic is gonna do all that
I think you'll be okay...I rebuild my rear end from right above the axle to the back. After i got rear ended last winter on the trails...my rails had holes and were bent up wards. along with the floor. I bent rails out of 16g steel, cut the old ones out. Stretched the body back out. Put the new ones in with structural metal glue...3m panel adhesive and dropped a few spot welds here and there for extra strength. Built new shackle boxes. Dropped a new floor in. And it's been good since. I basically jumped it, all kind of mud, and trail riding and some decent flexing, haven't had a problem yet. I'm still going to put some frame stiffeners back there soon but it's held up great so far. And I can cruse 75 with out any weird vibs or anything. It might squeak alittle over bumps here and there. But hey it's a jeep. Turn the music up and forget about it. And I still have a green slip for it .

Changed my alternator today. What a freaking nightmare! Had to remove all the brackets to get it out of there. Put it all back together and my Jeep was dead. Turned the key and just dead silence. After a lot of cursing and saying WTF happened? turned out that at some point I blew the relay for the starter.

That sucks. Was that the problem or the solution?
