What did you do to your Cherokee today?

Not today but over the last few days I've started on my cage...
And here it is lowered so I can weld the top of the tubes. Hopefully I'll get it all welded up today and start working on the rear downtubes...

Not exciting as some of these other ones, but my Cragar soft 8's came in. (15x8) Gonna go get my Firestone Destination M/T's mounted on them tomorrow. Gonna start my lift Thursday.

New Tires!
I got new tires! Well...it wasn't today, but it was very recently. They are 31x10.5x15 Goodyear Wrangler Authority AT's from good ol' Wal-Mart. MUCH MUCH smoother and quieter on road than my old bald MT Baja Claws and very capable off road as well. I am very pleased.
Sorry the pics aren't that great, I took them with my phone.

Replaced the front u+joint on the rear driveshaft today. I started to feel a little vib the last 2 days and notice a spray of grease on the underside of the trans tunnel. As I drove to the parts store I thought she was going to drop the driveshaft on the road, but she made it to my bros house and I installed the new joint. Also fixed that ghetto lean that my drivers seat had. I'll do a write up on that for everyone with that same issue.

Decided to pull out the axle shims because my pinion angle was to steep. Pulled out the 1 inch block that was in the rear as well because of the severe axle wrap I was getting under acceleration. Got everything unbolted and discovered that the centering pins for the leaf springs were grossly bent and desperately needed replacement. Thankfully I had a spare set in the garage. Changed out the pins, ditched the blocks, and reassembled everything. Took about an 1.5 hours.
