Killed myself installing my rustys 3.5 rear leafts and rough country shocks. The passenger side.took me and hour. The driver side 6hours! Bastard eye bolt would not come out and tried sawzawll and it was.slowly working until.my hand got punded into the cement by it. Thought I broke my finger. Went out and got a grinder and cut my old leaf pack.off. then spent time hacking away at the old.eye bolt. Finally.got.it off then had to go.and get new hardware for the eye part. Did that then the leaf was a pain in the *** getting in because I didn't want to stretch the crap.out of my brake line.. but all.done after way to much time and frustration. I'm doing the front springs, shocks, and adj track bar tomorrow. Also doing my 1" tc drop kit... the truck.has very dab vibes.
Here how she sat tonight.

GET THAT **** OFF NOW. Why? You said you're a cert, think about it. You take a hard turn, those brackets are NOT reinforced side-to-side, so all of the force in a turn goes to the forward mounts. And guess what happens when they fail? Pop goes the fuel tank spilling combustible gasoline all over the damn place, maybe even on your HOT exhaust system. Your drive line will probable get all ****ed up from being misaligned, and your axle just might break free and hit an oncoming car square in the windshield. OOPS, you just decapitated a random innocent and burned your jeep to the ground because you didn't want to spend $40.
That's worst-case scenario of course, but it's something to think of. Just spend the $40 to get properly machined brackets.
