Ehh not really. Of course it won't melt to the point of dripping off, but heat stress and vibrations will kill solder joints. Nothing's going to be able to separate a mechanical joint like a crimp. The best way to go is to solder AND crimp the connections - then you get a good electrical connection as well as a very high resistance to heat stress and vibration. This is how 5-90 makes his cables.

Regardless of how 5-90 does anything I will stick with a solid solder joint and good heat shrink. Waterproof. Secure. No resistance.

Not sure of the paint code. But the copper color is called " amber fire" by Chrysler. Used in 01 only but a lot of people resprayed with it. Might be code PV3

However if it's a jeep cherokee color, 2001 had a color called "Amber Fire Pearl - PV3" that's very similar
