Laid on the ground this morning and had to give my started a pounding with a hammer to get it to start. Been starting since then but will replace the starter this weekend so it doesn't come back to haunt me later. Unless of course there is a logical reason it might just do that once and not again.

 

Found out my lower control arm bushings are like all shot, a tie rod end is done and my steering box might be the source of my clunking. Does anyone know how much more mpg you can get with 703 injectors?

 

Not really much mpg boost but more smoother idle an acceleration. Maybe 1-2 if your old injectors were very clogged

 

Ahh okay thanks! I just want a smoother running jeep. Im also looking into a 62 mm throttle body and a cold air intake. Evnetually headers and good exhaust

Our local Jeep group did a Cancer run last summer. There was a woman there with a black 4dr JK, she slung pink plastidip all over it for the run. It looked sweet.

Decided to rearrange my parking area so I can work on my Cougar while I'm not working (slow season in a tourist town). Of course I used the Jeep to move the vehicles.


Was able to get my Cougar up in the air and finally able to look at the destruction I did to the transmission. Yeah, this is gonna be an issue...
