Well for one thing when your one of the only companies on the market that offers something like this then you can afford to charge that much for it. It pays for itself as soon as you install it as far as im concerned, and to be honest I can afford to shell out $72 for some bent steel brackets and bolts no problem. That being said....I do agree with you that it is way over priced for what it is and anyone could probably make these if you took the time.

No more then 8 bucks were spent buying the metal and supply's to make a hi lift mount on his roof rack. Gonna do the same thing and use the hi lift my dad has for his 09 jk and never uses it.
Drilled 2 holes in my rack, found two bolts in the tool box with matching nuts, installed highlift. No $. Works fine. Outta the way too.
did some cutting put the front tj flares on the daily driver, rears to be added later this eve, kinda dreading that. I know it's not for everyone but I got em for free so I figured why not.
