after work i went to Napa Auto parts & purchased remanufactured calipers. then i went to Autozone & purchased Duralast rotors & pads. replaced the right front caliper, rotor & pads. afterwards, i called carparts.com & explained to them that they sent me the wrong rotors. then i called summit & explained to them that the bendix brake pads they said would fit doesnt fit either. oye vey!!! tomorrow i will do the left side after work which will be a hastle due to a rounded caliper bolt...what fun!!!

continued from my previous post last night. today after work, i replaced the left side rotors, caliper & pads. reason why i didn't replace it with the right side last night, is due to the caliper bolt being rounded where i couldn't get the socket to stay in place. so i had to use a vice grip to unscrew the damn thing.

PASSED INSPECTION!!!
this is a big deal for me. Usually i buy a jeep, get it inspected, start moding, lift, tires, skids, lockers, ect. Use it throughly, then by the next year when i need inspection again. it doesn't even come close to passing and its cheaper to buy another cherokee then fix mine. repeat. this is my 4th jeep and 3rd xj in the last 4 years and I don't have to replace it woot woot. quite stoked cause i like this one.

Yesterday I went out to my garage and found my right front tire flat. I reinflated the tire and took it to have the nail taken out. Also had my new solid lug nuts put on.

defiance- fair warning, they are good for the price, but the hardware is going to rust the first time it rains, and the 55W bulbs are underpowered. change to 100W bulbs.
crusher-damn dude, i've seen your update on three boards tonight!

i guess i should chime in too!
I put in a Uniden CB, and got ticked off while working on a friend's camaro and dealing with electrical gremlins, so i released some steam by pulling off the wheelwell liners, front wheel moldings, and front bumper end caps. Now i gotta figure out a way to make it look better and i'll be good to go!

Go under on the ds behind the rear tire there is a round plug behind the quater at the bottom and pull the plug. I cleaned mine and found this plug and about 5 gallons of water shot out and my jeep sits higher on that side now. Easy lift ,huh . Never knew that was there. Just a FYI.
