Maybe because it's a 21mm bolt head, not 13/16in....

Hello all, New to Jeeps. But in the last week I have changed shocks, done some minor body work, found out that my bumper is toast so drew up plans for a new bumper, prepped and painted the entire underbody and plan to do some highlight painting over the weekend. Sorry I have a 1994 Grand Cherokee Straight 6. I have found you guys to be very helpful in my goal of restoring my GC to prime and then some. One thing I do have to ask is has anyone got any good ideas one how to brighten up the black hole that is the space between the front seat. I cant even see where the heck my drink is at night.

that's one of the things you learn to live with. if you dont want to ride with your overhead light on all the time. my radio(its a pioneer) puts out an annoying amount of light, that helps me see things. i suppose you could search for a bright radio.
