they are home made, and work just like the stock foot well lights. i bought the t10 sockets and bulbs online (only took 3 months to get the sockets, but thats why i bought extras!) since they draw such a small amount of power i piggybacked into the overhead light plug at the pass fusebox (using some metal clips from a previous project, pink is the power wire fyi) and ran the wires across to the drivers side. the mounts are just scrap plastic from an xj i parted out a few years back with a few holes drilled in and screwed into the stock foot well light mounting points. from what i understand the pre update xj's have the wiring in place (i couldnt find it in my 01) and all they need is the light and socket to work. let me know if you need any help.

Changed plugs and wires today. The PO must have had no clue about gaping the plugs. As we all know they should be gaped at .035, well these autolites were gaped at .047. Way over. Figured this could be one of the reasons I have a misfire on cold starts?. (Replaced with OE champions) idles a bit better.
Also finished up paint on my front bumper and put it back on.
Good day.

Flexed it a little
They had a ramp at 4Wheel parts. Man, I need the Aussie lockers. Could not get that far up because of the tires with less traction started to spin. The relocation brackets did make a difference. No bottoming out. Traction was the limiting factor.

Set out to get my 91 running again.
It has been sitting for over a year, while I was repairing (very slowly) the damage from a wreck.
Bought a new Duralast battery, some coolant, and went to work. Started putting thing back together. Realized that when I pulled the trans lines, I messed up one of the quick connects. No biggie, I had extra trans lines I bought for my 99... nope, don't fit. Luckily I had a parts jeep, a 95. Pulled one from that BINGO!
Then I dumped some coolant in, as I was doing that I realised I didn't have a fan on there.
No biggie, I had one. NOPE! One of the studs on the pulley came out. AND the "****" that fits in the fan clutch was so rusty it wouldn't slide on there. Ah well, no fan. I just wanted it to run.
Dropped the new battery in. Took a second to turn over but if fired right up!
I then drove it across the street to put some fresh gas in. Got a lot of looks driving an XJ with no header panel, no fenders and no lights in front lol.
Felt good to move it by its own power finally.
