Some '97s can do it (mine) without too much modification..

Doors are easy to get off on mine as well. It's getting them to line back up perfectly and not sag that is the fun part of it all. That took me a while.

I just started looking at the plugs on my '98 for my doors. Broke the tabs so they aren't such a pain to remove. Hopefully soon they'll come off. I found a guy with a welder so I can weld pins in too

Popped open front and rear diffs to check em out. Made some gaskets then put them back on. Filled em up. Drained and filled the transfer case. Took it for a cruise after. And when turned down the street my radiator busted. Awesome end to the day. Looks like the little bolt that holds the electric fan in its assembly came off, letting the fan hit the radiator and that's how it busted. Pulled the radiator and got a new one. Will install it first thing on the morning.

Easiest way to do this is use a relay and power your switch after the ignition... that way when you shut the Jeep off, the lights will shut off no matter if you left the switch in the on position or not.

LOL, i totally forgot that's what i was gonna do. The old wiring that i tore out had a relay, i was going to move it under the hood so i can hook the hot wire directly to the batt. the PO had the relay inside and the hot wire was plugged into the fuse block. So it kept blowing fuses.

Meh I'll only be using it at night and that light is bright enough.

Picked these parts up tonight:

...fresh off the glory of finally completing the suspension, I needed a new project: rear disc brakes!

(Includes almost everything; calipers, discs, backing plates, e-brake shoes, bolts, springs, iron oxides in a mildly advanced state of decrepitude, etc. ...everything the aspiring pseudo jeep-ist needs for custom rear stoppers. I hope.)

It looks do-able at least, so I guess we'll see how well this goes, lol.

Planned out how to go about putting 10 L.E.D.'s across the bottom arm of my rear swing out for reverse lights

Ready to get this bumper done and on the road!
