What did you do to your Cherokee today?
CF Veteran
Had the driver door speaker rewired. Had 2 new Pioneers installed in the front doors. The Infinity speakers in the rear that I got from the JY last year still work perfectly. Now all my speakers work again, yay!
And yesterday my Cherokee passed the California smog test with flying colors!

Installed the Draw-Tite front receiver today. Lessons learned: If I ever need to do that again, I'll just skip to the part where I might as well take off the front bumper in the beginning. It would've saved a whole lot of time and frustration! It was actually a fairly easy install, even with the drilling and all, but the last carriage bolt (of course it had to be the last one) just wouldn't set right! I finally said eff it and took the bumper off. It took just a minute to fix what my pudgy fingers couldn't in that cramped space! Afterwards, I torqued it down to specs, put the brush guard back on (minus the lower stabilizer shelf since the receiver was now in the way) and all is good to go.
Why a front receiver? I've got a few plans for it. But mainly for the Bumper Dumper, the front recovery points, to stiffen up the front end a little bit, and maybe a hitch-mounted winch. I can always put the hitch-mounted bike rack up there or a cargo shelf or a hitch-mounted BBQ. Lots of possibilities. Since I don't do any major rock crawling and stick to desert playing, the hitch won't get in the way.
You can barely see it there.
I like this one mainly because of the gleam in her "eye".
