Cleaned more glass out of the rear from the broken rear window. Seems like I clean and clean and there is still more glass. I also went over to the beach and picked up a few nice size boards to toss in the back just to have on hand never know when a 2x12 will come in handy!

Replaced the master window control switch on the wifes 01 and replaced the faulty front door speakers.
Changed the oil in the 01 and the 91 XJs and my Nissan truck.
Replaced the air filters in the 01 and 91.
Started to diagnos the fuel delivary problem on the 89 XJ. I hear the fuel pump come on, but there is absoluetly nothing coming out of the tank. Gonna pull the pump tommorow and check the strainer for blockage.

tightened up my passenger horn, put the vacuum skid plate back on over the 4x4 cable lock electrical stuff, tightened the bracket to the dash for the cable, gasket cement inside the firewall around the cable. wired up new heater control light socket, but need a new bulb, the three i hav are shot. got lucky and my jvc stereo plug works with my new sony im putting in, so i kinda messed with that and it sounds good. i took it back out so i can put it all the way back in. gotta finish the heater thing first.

Today I put new Rough Country Hydro shocks on it, and leveled it out at 5" lift...
Tomorrow I'll be replacing my tranny mount and installing my Rusty's belly skid..

Well I am to impatient to wait for anything so I went ahead and pulled the fuel pump out. Turns out that whoever installed the pump did not secure the supply hose and it slipped off cutting off all fuel to the engine. Reconnected it all and now she runs, like crap, but she runs.

Ugg, Since i am chasing an electrical gremlin. I started by taking apart the whole dash, Dismantled the steering wheel, and pulled and cleaned my fuse box. I replaced the key switch, and then the ignition switch. Then started pulling out old wires that the p/o put in. Like an old "hella" harness car alarm, and just alot of wires going nowhere..
I started at 10:30 this morning. And ran out of daylight. So tomorrow back to pulling old cut wires, while looking for my gremlin...

What was the PO on?
I've been trying to add a rear wiper on the XJ. None of the electrical was working in the rear hatch. I got it figured out today.
I traced the power back to the rear quarter as being good and was expecting to find broken wires between the body and hatch.
As far as I can tell this had to be deliberate. There is no way all these wires would have failed inside the body! For the life of me I don't know why someone would go to all the effort to get to the harness up above the headliner... (My EX has an Alibi) It's not like there was any short or broken wires that would make someone half a$$ it like this...
I pulled the harness from the donor rig when I got the wiper motor but do you think that Jeep would use the same plugs on two vehicles in a row????
