Why don't you see more XJ's with just a turn down after the muffler? That's my plan when I get around to the exhaust (with a flowmaster). I've terminated with a turn down on a lot of my vehicles under the cab and never had a problem with fumes. As for the noise? Thats what I was going for...

Told it I was sorry...that I let her down...I failed at keeping jeep from making the 2014 disgrace of a Cherokee. now I may have to take her Cherokee tags off, she feels as embarrassed as I do.
On a better note I got my new exhaust parts. Hi flow cat, FM40 and 2.5" pipe from performance curve.

Finished the rear main seal, started just fine which is a nice thing, but it's still leaking somewhere near or around the starter. doesn't appear to be the oil filter.

Lifted my buddy's 88. Used the xj main, and a s10 pack without the over loads. Hard to tell how much lift it got in the dark. But it rakes quite nice.
