Priceless....

Today, took a half-hour drive to the local radio shop. Got rid of the rusty old spring and bent behind whip. Went with a 4" SS spring and a 4ft. fiberglass antenna.

Not bad. Is that before or after shipping? I just ordered my 4.5 coils from them. On sale for $100...plus 25 shipping.

Shipping costs will really drain you on these heavy lift components...

Yup...I always chuckle a bit when I see guys worrying about what their wife thinks of their build costs...

In all honesty, my wife is pretty cool about it. She's kinda been egging me on. Was planning on doing a 3" lift on 31's...now its 4.5 on 32's with parts in the mail...also considering long arms...lol! The madness never stops.

After shipping. I had a 160 credit there from returning something previously. And quadratec tried charging me 35 shipping for a t-case rebuild kit, talked them down to 19.99 lol

Yes see with my wife the Jeep used to be hers we bought it almost brand spanking new and she cracked the head at 89 K and she let it sit for about a year and a half before she didn't want it no more and now that I put about 4k into it she wants it back so I let her drive every so often it keeps her happy especially now that I'm starting my next project which is a 52 Ford 2 door custom line so I'm going to have to really work some magic on her this time around

If you use google shopping you can get free shipping from quadratec. I'd rather spend my money with the smaller vendors, instead of the walmart of 4x4 parts, but with the money I've saved on free shipping for heavy components I've been able to buy nicer parts. Got my wheels and leaf springs from them w/ free shipping.

Yeah learned that trick. Free shipping on my winch was a $$ saver. Saved $50 on this latest order. Otherwise I avoid quadratec.

Mounted a siren under the hood to use as a PA, and remounted my CB antenna after realizing it's old spot wasn't worth a damn.

You need to find a cone for it! That looks like a whelen but I'm not too sure.
