Fed ex surprised me today by delivering my correct hubs 3 days early.

Incorrect hubs on left and correct on right.

Finally had time to cut my hinges on my back doors. 4 removable doors are way better than 2 removable doors on a 4 door.

Now all I need to do tomarrow is a lil touch up tan in spots I missed the first go round.

Started out as a simple 614000km oil change and tire rotation.
Found the source of an elusive vibration. You have to fix what you find.
Upper control arm, drivers side, broke.
Insert a patch and weld around, what a pita to access, when you get the torch in you can't see, when you can see you can't get a good torch angle. Well stand on your head three ways to sunday and it's fixed. Seems a waste of time as I'm preppin another axle to swap in early in the summer. You gotta expect some breakage with the hard core mall crawl.

Just pulled the xj back into the garage...Again..After deciding to finally replace the high pressure hose on the ps pump that would **** everywhere when the wheel was cut to full travel and swap out the original ps pump with a lower mile junk yard one I've had nothing but issues. After finishing drove it Friday night and all was good. Next morning sounded like a dog yelping under the hood. Belt was crap so replaced that Saturday and sound went away. Well the sound came back last night and just now I noticed that the new pump pulley has play front to back which I'm guessing is causing a misalignment issue with the belt. I free spun all other pulleys and don't see anything or hear anything out of order so I'm going to disconnect lines and put original pump back in...
