I take it the others didnt have much 4x4 experience? I just don't get how it took 2 full size and a small truck to get a 3500 pound jeep unstuck. I get being high centered and all but still...I've pulled out multiple jeeps high centered on both axles, few times on frozen ground with only my jeep and a 5000 pound winch. And s10s high centered on the frame...just crazy. I'm not trying to dog or anything like that. But you must have been hellllastuck.

Yessir, I've already got a 242 in the garage and I'll be picking up a 4WD AW4 in GA at the end of the month.... 4WD is finally on the way!
I know you've got it in the works! It's easy lol

I picked up all the boxes on my front porch and carried them inside. Coils, quick discos, bushings, lift shackles, brake lines, u-bolts, bumpstops...and then promptly hid them from the wife.

Then I ordered a set of 32" Dick Cepek Mud Countrys to go on the 16" Black Rock Soft 8 wheels that should greet me at the door tomorrow...

It was muddy as hell. Probably only needed the two pickups but my mom showed up in the Durango so we went ahead and tied it in.

lol i feared for my life when i saw my dads reaction to them, thankfully all he made me do was clean the Jeep off.

Finally got started on my alternator and wiring upgrade. Got the 1/0 welding cable cut and ends crimped and got the alt bracket and block ground down for the GC 136 amp upgrade. Now just need to get everything in there.

Wires (still need one more for the other ground strap replacement)

Block, you can see where the shiny metal is where I ground it for alt clearance

Drove into manhattan with my girl. Went to the auto show. Wasn't bad but seemed dull this year. New cherokee is trying to hard.

I did finally, after three years of attending, go on that jeep experience blah blah blah thing. Had to promise my girl I wouldn't talk. Kinda always say why they don't go harder with the vehicles and such lol

Lol sounds like a dad. Or what they should be at least...unless I suppose they bought the vehicle...then I could see them being mad.

Just finished slinging some mud. Hard to see tonight. Will post a pic of the mud in the AM. And the tracks I made. Not a whole lot. But it was an open pasture next door to our house and we decided to go cut up being it just finished raining.

I couldn't stop laughing. It's obvious they fork lifted it on there. And people are looking like "oooo, ahhhhh." It really does look like a curvier escape. Then again most vehicles are saw tonight are coping each other curves. Oh well that for another thread

If they had left one wheel on the forklift and actually flexed it until a wheel left the ground....... I still wouldn't be impressed since I'm sure it has a whopping 4 inched of suspension travel.
