Drove it to the local Chevy dealer looking for a tow rig, walked out with a quote 52,xxx for a '11 dura max 1ton single 40,xxx miles loaded with options. Now I wish I could afford payments on a beauty like it. I'm a Chevy man when it comes to trucks but I'd stick to my jeeps for now. Someday they be trailer queens behind a Chevy. That beaut had everything done to it that I'd like to do. 6 inch lift 33s 17inch black rims and the color of the truck is the color I love Chevys. Not to mention hide a goose already done, and a stereo installed and intake and exhaust already done too. Even had a tuner!

they probably would...but those also cost more than a little block of wood. My jeep doesn't see enough rocks to justify sliders.

I know they are. I'm always jealous of my Wrangler driving friends who have sliders or running boards.

Put in a new Mopar thermostat. I guess my old one was stuck open cause I've barely been hitting 160° driving uphill on the highway. Now I hit 190° after a 5 minute idle.
Probably should've done that a few months ago when it was cold, since I also took off the doors today.

So you really can't tell much of a difference on road with it disconnected huh? I might have to try this out...

Painted my diff covers over the weekend. I went body color on the Covers and Black on the Ballistic Skull. Instead of clearing over them, I tried some reflective spray paint. I thought it would add a cool effect, but either the paint doesn't work or I didn't apply enough coats. Either way I don't think I got the look I was after. Maybe it will look different under different light. In the photo it just looks like dust.
