Painted my diff covers over the weekend. I went body color on the Covers and Black on the Ballistic Skull. Instead of clearing over them, I tried some reflective spray paint. I thought it would add a cool effect, but either the paint doesn't work or I didn't apply enough coats. Either way I don't think I got the look I was after. Maybe it will look different under different light. In the photo it just looks like dust.

Was trying to do that and... Broke my vice.
I've never been bothered with or without
Paired my tire carrier, nut strips, front driveshaft and broke my vice doing u joints. Installed new 231 shifter gate and handle.

Found an old poem today when cleaning up the garage to make room for the XJ. "Enforcer" was the name of a ford ranger that a buddy was assigned to use for fieldwork. They got it stuck and caused $3000 damage to the motor and tyranny getting it out and limping it home.
Enforcer Fight Song
Go, Enforcer go,
Through the mud and the sand,
Let's go.
Hit the gas, accelerate,
spinning tires infiltrate,
let those RPMs escape.
Go Enforcer go,
against all odds of needing
a tow,
spin the clutch, burn the brake,
rattle off that tailgate,
let those RPMs escape.

Put in new washer fluid pumps.
The old ones, I do believe they may have been the ones used on the windows of the Titanic's bridge at one point in time.
Pretty easy to swap out. Also, I finished up painting my new bumper, hopefully going on Thursday after it fully dries for 48 hours.
Also dumped some more Gorilla Glue into my center console bracket to help solidify it a bit. Pretty good evening, I'd say.

NIGHT MARE SITUATION.....
went wheeling...
Blew right rear tire, ok no problem right? WRONG!
1) set up bottle jack
2) remove wheel... Wait I left my tire iron on the garage bench with my wrenchs... Oh good I have my breaker bar.
3) removed 2 lugs, snap! Breaker bar breaks, make a repair using a screwdriver to hold together the breaker bar and the socket.
4) need to jack up higher to put wheel on, bottle jack won't go higher... Ok so went to lower bottle jack to put under axle instead..... It won't lower....
5) hi lift jack!!! Your going on the rear hitch!
6) jeep slides off hi lift. Brake Drum hits the dirt... This happens 3 more times, finally I screw lugs on.... Wow.
Later I picked up 4 new toyo AT2. Very impressed. Way modern design, high tech, 6 ply thick, 65k mile rating.

So I have this Dana 44 that was in the bed of my comanche when I bought it. It needs work but how do I find out what gears it has without taking the cover off? Any help will be helpful at this point in time.
