Changed my starter today. Had to use winch to get it in the garage I hit it with a hammer a few times to start it, but it finally gave up.
Good thing is,now it starts & guy at parts store has 86 Comanche that I'm gonna buy from him.Guess it went for a reason, huh?

Nice job! I'm going to need something similar to those for body mounts on my ’50 conversion to 4X4. Can I ask you about the specifics on how you made them?

Did you buy stock with that shape or bend them up yourself? What did you use to cut/bend the shape into them? If you have a link to more of your fabrication photos I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks to my X’s great yard sale, I have a very limited tool selection and need all the do it yourself ideas I can get…

On my 2001 I wired in a master off switch for the electric fan and another switch to power it on whenever I want... I have it wired so it's still controlled by the computer for temp and air conditioning high side pressure but now I also can turn it on and off manually. The master off switch is for when I have it in water holes I can make sure it doesn't come on... Ran it and tested everything and glad to report that the check engine light did not come on...

Dude, hasn't it been winter there since like October? lol

I changed my oil over to Castrol Edge Full Synthetic with a Purolator PUREONE 30001 filter....yay for 7,500 mile oil change intervals.

Removed the stock fender flares in prep for fender trimming/folding

and got the water out of my driving lights, and sealed them up good so It doesn't happen again

I have seen lots of home made benders for sheet metal but not beefy enough for plate like that. Yould you mind posting a link or pics of what you made for a bender? Thanks!

By what I did today I mean this is what I did the last few days. Bedlined the floor, the bumpers, rockers, and fender flairs.

Had idler pulley fail at 45mph, then scrambled to get a replacement after having it towed home at 8:30PM. After luckily catching the parts store open, discovered that there were 2 pulleys for my jeep, and naturally no note as to which it was supposed to be (it was the 10mm bolt one) Proceeded to replace defective pulley, discovering a leaking trans cooler hose and breaking the mechanical fan shroud in the process while dropping the wrench 6 times. Got it all buttoned up by 11:00PM. Next is the PLANNED replacement of the windshield, and the scheduled oil change. Not the most spectacular failure I've seen, but sounded impressive at the time. (saw a power steering pump throw sparks once) pic of failed part attached.
