Finally had a new windscreen fitted after driving it for 5 weeks with a massive crack and no rear view mirror.
Jumped in to drive it and saw a big scratch in my field of view
Told the fitter, he said - yeah I saw that, was hoping you wouldn't notice. Duuuuh
So another new one will be fitted on Thursday.
At $350 it should be perfect.
Oh and gonna get stuck into it today and fix the no key start issue

Fixed my hatch striker. Noticed it lose last night, quieted down the rattles in the back. Now the hatch opens easy and closes easy. And doesn't feel lose anymore.
Ordered some hockey pucks for my front bumpstops, after searching for some locally last night with no luck. And marked where I need to trim my front fenders and hammered the pinch seams in the front fenders for tire clearance. Then cleaned up my 15x8's, gonna mount my 33's on them sometime this week if I have time. And mounted and balanced my old 235/75-15 Treadwrights on some stock wheels for a buddy of mine to put on his XJ (didn't take him long to figure out he needed mud tires if he was gonna wheel with me lol).
I feel like its been a productive day. Right now I'm just chilling in the Jeep, waiting on someone so I can go home, wishing I still had a radio to listen to in this thing.

I got infinity 6 3/4's all around, I put the cheaper of the two sets in the front. They need to be a bit more shallow IIRC. Checked crutchfield and it gave me the model "may require modification" and I put them in with no issues. I have the 629i in the rear.. They have a crossover and tweeter, I think. The front are 6032 shallow mount. They are pretty bright, so I put in a JL 12" sub in sealed box with a kicker 250 mono amp.. Very happy.

Worked on my head swap. I has been a long and frustrating road but things are coming together. Intake manifold had a huge chunk fall off after is was removed, APN header required some "massaging" to fit around my intake, both O2 sensors did not survive removal from the exhaust, and today I broke a bolt in my AC pump. All in all though not bad
