Drained the diffs, engine, tranny, radiator, power steering, and brake lines. Also ripped out the interior and started a clean up process. Got the 8.25 rear all hooked up. And ordered some bead locks and tires.

It got stuck at 85 for a few minutes as I slowed down. Now that there's day light I looked over the jeep and noticed it full of river bed sand. Stuff smells bad when wet. And I plan on dropping the tc today to replace. Now I gotta wash her.

Oil change!
Never buying one of those again. I know why they put a "nut" on top now, because otherwise there is NO where to get grip on that thing. Had to find a 1" socket to torque that pos off.
Replaced it with Puralator L30001 nice big filter.
And Mobil Super, I'll probably go synthetic after I fix all my leaks lol.
After I got it done the rain looked like it was moving in so I went back home. I need my dads help anyways because it sucks dropping a tcase without a second pair of hands. Damn near impossible to get one back in there lol.

Recently I removed the little plastic thing at the bottom of the doors of my xj, but there were some imperfection that I didn't like so yesterday I decided to give plasti dip a shot and try it out. I've only done it for the driver's door because it took me forever to clean everything up. I'll do the rest as I get more free time.
Oh, and I'm really happy with the results. I'll just have to wait to see if it holds on correctly.

Removed valve cover to re-torque the head bolts. When I put the valve cover back on, I broke two valve cover bolts when torquing them to spec. One was a complete break and the other snapped about half way thru. I had to drill out the middle and use the ez-out bit to get the lower half out. It came out very easy. Man, glad I did not have to tap hole and re-thread it. Is it very common for these to fatigue and break?
The rockers, push rods, and valve springs looked to be in great shape. Hardly any varnish and I have 170,000 miles.

I changed my cracked header and decided i needed new motor mounts, put in a new master cylinder and changed the break fluid... Tore out my FE and started to reinforce LCAM and install some new Axle seals... Hopefully finish tomorrow...
